Hispoet has been called the poet of “Truth & Light” as she aims to evoke emotions from one spectrum to the other by speaking about real life situations yet providing the spirit of love and edification throughout each of her pieces. She has often been compared to the Phenomenal Woman Maya Angelou. Hispoet has spoken across the United States in Washington, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and even New York. Hispoet has shared her gift at various schools in several districts and churches throughout The Golden Triangle for the past 15  years. She adds to her repertoires being the first poet to recite their own poetry at the B.I.S.D Convocation 2018 & 2019, The NAACP Award Banquet 2018, The M.L.K Gala of Orange Texas 2017 & 20108, The Exxon Mobil Black History program 2016, 2017 & 2018 and various other magnificent events that she has been graced with the opportunity to speak at. She has a style that is unique and all her own. Hispoet is more than a performer, she ministers her heart and gives the gift of words, wisdom, and inspiration that she hopes will change lives and perspectives. She feels comparison to any other is asinine because she understands she can’t be anyone else and no one else can be her, and she is absolutely astounding at being who she was created to be and she feels that you are too. She is the author of two collections of poetry So It Is Written, The Spirit of Inspiration and  her most recent work The Truth Poetically.  She is currently working on a novel and other creative ventures so be on the look out for more of her work. Hispoet has created & hosted a Radio show called “Tha Final Word” on KOLE 1340 AM in 2013 & 2014 and an internet radio station called 409 Tha Heat in 2017 & 2018.

Tha Final Word is a gospel poetry show that highlights inspirational poetry from various artists and also touches on spiritual issues that affect the people in order to help them lean on God in every area in their life. She also aims to start a T-shirt company called I Am Free To Be Royalty which is based on 2 Peter 2:9. What drives Hispoet is the fact that she knows only what she does for God will last and that is the core value upon which she strives to glorify Him in all she does. Hispoet is also an Ordained Minister & a Minister of Spoken Word who is gifted to capture the literary essence in any situation that may present itself in this life.
